Privacy Policy

This explains what leapinteractivellc.com collects, what it deliberately does not collect, and who to write to if any of it matters to you. It is written to describe how the site actually behaves rather than to cover every possibility.

1. Who this covers

This site, leapinteractivellc.com, is operated by LEAP interactive, LLC, 301 Blanco Rd. Suite B, San Antonio, Texas 78212, USA. Where this policy says "we" or "us", it means that company. Where it says "the site", it means this website and nothing else. It does not cover a client's site that we built, which is governed by that client's own policy.

2. What we collect

Information you send us

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to send. The form asks for your name, email address, company or organization, how you heard about us, the type of project, and your message. A phone number is optional. We ask for these because we cannot answer an enquiry without them, not to build a marketing list.

Information collected automatically

Our web host records standard server logs when a page is requested. These typically include the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user agent. We do not use these logs to identify individuals and we do not combine them with anything you send us.

3. Cookies and consent

Cookies on this site are governed by LEAP Cookie Consent, a consent management plugin we build and maintain ourselves. Non-essential scripts are blocked until you give the matching consent. Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories runs while the notice is unanswered, or at all if you decline.

What gets stored

  • Your consent choice, so the notice does not ask again on every page.
  • A consent record, kept so we can show what was agreed and when. It holds a reference identifier, the categories you chose, the version of this policy in force at the time, and a timestamp. Your IP address is stored only as a salted, one-way hash, never in readable form. Records are cleared automatically after a set retention period.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie notice, and withdrawing it stops the gated scripts from loading again.

4. Third parties the site loads from

Some assets are served from other companies' servers. Requesting them tells those companies your IP address, as it would on any site that uses them. We do not send them anything about you beyond that request.

  • Google Fonts for the two typefaces the site is set in.
  • Image hosts used for photography and flag icons on some pages.

We use none of these to identify or track visitors, and we receive no data back from them.

5. What we do with what you send

We use it to answer you, to scope and price the work if you want us to, and to keep a record of the conversation if it becomes a project. That is the whole list.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired. We do not share it with anyone outside the company except where a service provider handles it on our behalf, such as our email provider, or where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that become projects are kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for as long afterwards as our tax and record-keeping obligations require. Enquiries that do not become projects are kept only as long as they are useful, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

7. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address at the end of this page and we will action it. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.

Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, including under Texas law and, if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR. We honour those requests regardless of where you are.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and messages you send reach us through our email provider's encrypted transport. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything genuinely sensitive through a web form. If we need something confidential from you during a project, we will arrange a proper way to send it.

9. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we add anything to the site that changes what it collects, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
